Do not buy a cheap "DJ in a box" you may think buying one will save you money, but it won't.
1. They have very little resale value & are hard to sell.
2. They break easily.
3. Using such low quality equipment is more likely to turn you off to wanting to stick with DJing.

On A Low Budget
I highly recommend at least getting two Numark TT500 turntables & a Stanton SA.5 mixer instead of a cheap battle-pack.
(To mix you will need to buy everything, but if you want to just practice scratching first you can start with just one turntable & the mixer. Then buy the other turntable & the headphones when you can afford them.)
